Connectivity Within our Community

While we’re proud of the high-quality solutions we provide to the Greater Houston area, when we speak of our network, we’re not just talking about our technology.

While we’re proud of the high-quality solutions we provide to the Greater Houston area, when we speak of our network, we’re not just talking about our technology. We’re also referencing the partnerships our company and many employees have cultivated within our community. We’ve talked before about our relationships with our customers and we aren’t shy about publicizing our culture. Like many companies, we do our best to ensure each of our employees exemplifies these values. However, we don’t “leave them at the office;” we carry them with us as we interact with and within our favorite city.

Connectivity is more than a service we offer; it’s a lifestyle.

You’ll find our team members out enjoying, learning about, and giving back to Houston in a variety of ways. From sport clubs like the Curling Club of Houston (Carl Schaeper) to professional organizations such as the Petroleum Club of Houston (Marc Krasney) we’re proud to have stewards of PS LIGHTWAVE actively contributing in local groups.

Not simply content to being members, many of our team members take on additional duties and leadership opportunities within organizations. The South East Texas Damage Prevention Council (SETX DPC) has captured the attention and priority of two of our esteemed colleagues. Johnny Lambert is currently serving his second year as Vice Chairman for the South East Chapter and Mike Waller recently took over the Treasurer position.

The SETX DPC is a non-profit organization focused on environmental protection and public safety. Professionals from industries spanning from contractors, pipeline operators, excavators, engineers and more come together to heighten awareness to “Call Before You Dig,” promote best practices, and works alongside other damage prevention efforts.

With the combination of constant growth of the city, the nationally impactful Port of Houston, and ever evolving technology, Johnny and Mike feel passionate about being able to contribute their professional knowledge to the improvement of their great city.

While taking time to serve and connect with the community in this way fulfills Mike and Johnny’s desire to give back, there is an added bonus for PS LIGHTWAVE and in turn our customers. Their participation helps us stay informed on local issues, to celebrate regional success and recognize neighborhood needs. The connections they have developed with other industry leaders and the city as a whole are beneficial to all.
