Part I. Information Collection
PS Lightwave collects information through our websites at several points. We collect information about primary visitors including full name, day and evening phone numbers, encrypted and inaccessible credit card information, account status and mailing address. We also collect demographic data in order to better serve your needs as a valued Customer.
We collect this information through web forms, for example our “Contact Us” form. Personally unidentifiable information is collected involuntarily for the purpose of site analysis.
We do not currently employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. However, we may store Customers’ electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.
This Policy applies only to PS Lightwave’s treatment of data collected online, and does not apply to any offline data collection processes or practices. Continued use of PS Lightwave’s services constitutes acceptance of this Policy.
A special note about children: PS Lightwave does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen and does not wish to collect any such information. Federal law requires website operators who collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen to first get parental consent. Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers) over the Internet, to us or to anyone else.
Part II. Information Usage.
PS Lightwave shall use this information to update, refine and restructure the current processes in place, or to design new processes, that will allow us to provide the standard of service that the Customer expects from us. From time to time, we may seek to improve Customers’ overall experience by tailoring and offering new services to the Customer; the information gathered through our website shall be used to tailor service to our Customers. The information required to tailor a service is based on generalized information where an individual customer is not specifically identifiable. Further, PS Lightwave shall not release any customer-identifiable information to a third-party without a Customer’s notice and consent where applicable.
We will not share data with any third parties. But we do offer links to other websites. Please note: When you click on links to other websites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.
PS Lightwave reserves the right to change this Policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your use of this site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be used according to the policies in effect at the time the information was collected.
Part III. Access to Information
You have the right to restrict our use of your information for these purposes. Your decision to restrict our use of your information is free of charge and will not affect the service you receive from PS Lightwave. If you wish to restrict our use of your information, please notify us in writing, or email us at the address below within 30 days of accessing and/or receiving this Policy. Moreover, you may also contact us in writing, by email at any time in the future at the address below to restrict the use of your information. If you elect not to restrict use of your information, this acknowledgment and permission will become effective thirty-three days from the date you access this Policy and/or PS Lightwave transmits this notice to you and we may use your information solely for the purposes described in this Policy You may change your decision at any time, but your decision will remain valid until you tell us otherwise.
