Wendy joined PS Lightwave as Corporate Controller in 2025 with over 17 years of accounting experience in various industries, including healthcare, NFPs, and the government and education sector. Wendy became a licensed CPA in 2013 and specializes in budgeting, financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and improving processes. She earned a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington and an MS in Accounting from Western Governor’s University. Wendy is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and also holds the AICPA’s Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. In the workplace, she is passionate about connecting with people and contributing her skills to organizations that help improve the quality of people’s lives.
Wendy is a native Texan. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading in the personal and spiritual growth category, playing tennis, and watching the Astros win world championships.
